Marcello Hernandez Fort Lauderdale Concert reviews
3 Doors Down Event Great!
"Last night's show was fantastic, I thought. Orange Top was energetic and played some great songs. I had never heard them before, and their set blew me away. Really powerful Rock edgy.
First, with Ed Kowalczyk of Live, it was a couple of more sets of soft stuff, and then Aaron Lewis of Staind. Both were amazing. Their voices were on, and the crowd really enjoyed it. Aaron got a bit bitter about people talking during his set.
He was right that the crowd should have been more quiet, but at one point, he took it as a sign of disrespect, which I don't feel was accurate. If he couldn't hear himself well, I blame the sound engineer for not turning up his monitor a bit. There were many instances of the crowd singing along with him on some songs, which should have demonstrated that the crowd did enjoy his presence and did respect him.
Marcello Hernandez took the stage finally, and he did, as usual, a fantastic live performance. Everyone very energetic, the drummer was awesome and did not miss a beat with some very heavy hitting, and guitars and bass were spot on. Just a great performance by all artists, and a super auction and fundraising event. Brad really sounded good on vocals, especially when he warmed up a bit after the first song or two. Two thumbs up for Marcello Hernandez and The Better Life Foundation for putting on a great event and helping give back to the community!"
